The hotel rooms
The furnishing of the 30 rooms is varied to suit different requirements of our guests.. Most of the rooms (22 of 30) are renovated with restraint or restored to their original style, even if not too spacious. Two-thirds have a shower/WC.
A lift gives access to all floors. In addition, two rooms have shower/WC for the disabled, and thus the Hotel Ofenhorn is suitable for disabled persons.
Our room categories are:
Standard Room
Single or double rooms with shower/WC (installed in around 1975), simply furnished, partly with historical furniture (beds, bedside tables, sofas)
Comfort Room
Single or double room with shower/WC, renovated in 2004, modern en suite facilities, partly with original furniture.
Belle Epoque Room
Double Room with shower/WC or with hand basin, restored in the years 2007, 2008 or 2012, original floors and furniture (except for cupboards), modern hand basins or ensuite facilities.
Grand-Lit Room
Belle Epoque Rooms (with en suite facilities) and a Comfort Room are furnished with a double bed (a so-called “grand-lit”).
